Two Week Update

EEK!! My baby is 2 weeks old! WAAAHHHH!!!! Ok, I'm better. hee hee We had Caleb's 2 week check up today with the pediatrician. He is my little piglet! He's up to 8 lbs 4 oz. He's now 20 1/2 in long. He's grown an inch and a half and gained almost a pound in a little over a week. Momma's milk is doing his body GOOD!! :) He's such a good baby and I'm loving up on him at every opportunity I get! We also had Eathan's 5 year check up. WAAAAAHHHHH!!! My baby is FIVE YEARS OLD! He turned 5 back in July, but I waited until after the mad rush with school physicals to make his well visit. He got his immunizations and a complete physical. He did so good and I'm very proud. I have to say that the Lord has blessed me with healthy children and I'm extremely grateful. It's easy to take things like that for granted, but I try to remember how blessed we truly are.

We started back to school this week. I should have waited one more week b/c this week we are busy with DRs appointments, but we'll be ok. I have to say that Eathan does really well after a little break. I really need to find some creative ways to make things a little more exciting for him. I think he gets bored with a routine so the break makes things fresh again for him. He's still taking things slow with his phonics and I'm ok with that. We'll take all of the time he needs until he gets it 100%. He's learned to count to 20 without missing any numbers and now he has managed to count to 40. :) He's so excited about that! We have yet to finish putting together our Solar System Lapbook. It's my fault, but I have an excuse. ;) Garrett is learning his colors, shapes, and letters. He's so stinking cute when he gets the crayon and he says the correct color. It cracks me up how excited he gets when I tell him he's right! I have to say it has taken him quite a bit of time to learn his colors. We've got plenty of time though. :)

We've had lots of fun with Daddy home with us. He goes back to work on Thursday :( and it will be interesting to see how the boys react. They sure do love their Daddy. It will be interesting to see how Momma reacts with 3 kiddos all by her lonesome! hee hee I know we'll be fine and we'll just keep on having a blast like we always do! :)

Here are some pics of the boys!

Daddy took the boys fishing with PawPaw on Sunday. They had a BLAST!!

I LOVE Garrett's blue eyes in this picture! :)
