3 Weeks and counting...

Just let me say that I HATE THRUSH!! I've had it with all 3 of my boys now and it's extremely aggravating and painful I might add! I took every precaution this time around b/c I didn't want thrush, especially since it was so hard to get rid of with Garrett. Well, since Caleb decided to come so quickly they pumped me full of antibiotics since we didn't know if my Group B Strep was negative. Now here we are at 3 weeks battling thrush! I HATE IT and I want to CRY! We're using the gentian violet and I've upped my dose of probiotics. Hopefully it goes away quickly. Now my baby is all purple and looks so pitiful. Anywho, other than this icky thrush Caleb is doing very well. He really is a good baby. SPOILED, but good. He sure does love his Momma and I love him. :)

We still haven't found our groove with school. It seems as soon as I get Eathan started Caleb needs/wants to be fed or Garrett went potty and needs his butt wiped. lol Eathan is coping well with the interruptions. He actually did a whole page of ETC by himself. He's NEVER done that, so he's learning some independence. :) BTW, we're up to 2 pages of ETC a day now. YAY! He's really at the edge of taking off with his reading and one page a day just wasn't enough for him. He did complain the first day, but he zooms through the 2 pages before he has a chance to complain. I'm hoping by next week we can get back to our Solar System stuff. My Mom found a cheap telescope for him to play with. He was super excited about it. Daddy is going to get it set up on his next day off. Then we can go out and observe. :)

I think that's all that's going on with us. It's kind of boring. lol I'll upload some pictures tomorrow or the next day. lol

I hope the thrush is better soon...so sorry that you are having to deal with that!
Our neighbor's son broke our telescope, so we are needing a new one. I'm holding out for a really good one for Christmas. With my kids getting older, we need a better one for Science than what we had. I need to start looking for one!
